Hrad Karlštejn
Hello, Last weekend we visited a beautiful castle near Prague – Hrad Karlštejn. Unfortunately, we did not take a tour and did not go inside, but I did a quick sketch! It was nice to draw on paper again with markers, and I was even more happy to draw “in place”, without photo references.
I have been here a couple of times (and I am going to visit again), and the most amazing thing for me is that fairytale atmosphere starts in the street that leads to the castle, even if you cannot see the castle yet. I think it is because of the antiques shop – there are so many beautiful things “with history” and also the owner is a very kind and nice person. This time we had a chance to talk to him <3
